Diary Of A Chav 1 Grace Dent Diary of a Chav Grace Dent 15 Fabulous Right so listen up you lot Im Grace Dent and this is my story Lifes a right laugh innit Just me my mates and all the drama that comes with being 15 in a council estate No posh schools or fancy holidays for us but we make our own fun And trust me were good at it Heres the lowdown on my life School Yeah schools a bit of a drag Same old same old teachers who think theyre gods boys who think theyre gods and me just trying to survive The only good thing is my best mates Kelly and Cassie We stick together through thick and thin like sisters Style Where do I even start Were talking ripped jeans crop tops and a whole lotta fake tan Gotta make sure you stand out right And lets not forget the hair extensions highlights the whole shebang Gotta look fly even if youre just going to the shops Drama Lets be real drama is our bread and butter Boy troubles family problems the usual But were strong were resilient and we always have each others backs Never back down from a fight thats our motto Dreams Dont think for a second that were stuck here forever Were gonna make something of ourselves even if it means fighting our way to the top I dream of a big house a fancy car and a life where I can finally tell everyone to shove it So heres the first chapter of my life story Monday 10th of January Woke up to the sound of my mums screaming Classic Shes got a right temper that one Turns out my little brother Danny spilled his Weetabix all over the floor Classic Danny Got dressed in my usual attire ripped jeans crop top and a little bit of glitter on my eyelids You gotta look good even if youre going to school School was the usual nightmare Ms Johnson the history teacher went on about some boring old king I mean who cares about some guy who lived hundreds of years ago All I cared about was what I was going to do with Kelly and Cassie after school Lunchtime rolled around and we all met at the usual spot the smoking area Yeah were rebels what can I say But hey gotta have some fun in this boring life 2 The biggest drama today was about this new boy Callum Hes got a motorbike a leather jacket and a real badboy vibe Cassies head is already turned Kellys being all cynical saying hes just after one thing I dunno I think hes kinda cute After school we went down to the park and hung out for a while It was chilly but we didnt care We had our usual gossip and laughed our heads off Its the best way to destress after a day of being stuck in a classroom Later on my mum made us a takeaway for dinner Shes not much of a cook but shes got good taste in takeaway We had Chinese It was so good Before I knew it it was time for bed Im exhausted but Im also excited for tomorrow Who knows what kind of drama will unfold I cant wait to find out So there you have it My life in a nutshell Its messy its chaotic but its mine And thats all that matters Just wait until you hear about the next chapter though Its gonna be wild Stay tuned for more from Grace Dent the queen of the chavs
